I had technically never edited a video before this project. I thought I had when we did our podcast, but that was editing a series of pictures and doing a voice over. After discovering that Canva would not take a 7 minute long video to edit, I researched and asked around for another free, user-friendly app that allowed for editing, and one of my classmates recommended using CapCut. It did wonders! I played around with the software and for the first time sped up, cut out pieces of video, added closed captioning, and imbedded background music professionally. These were a lot of news that I'm grateful to have learned, so I can provide a more interactive and inclusive media for my students.
