Artist Statement: I find joy in the little details-small elements that can make a good work, great and a great work, marvelous. It's that extra few hours you spend on a work after it is "finished" that brings it to life. I urge the onlooker to appreciate every highlight, every transition, every extra minute an artist spends on their work to create something entirely new. How one puts 3D images on a 2D surface is an art in itself, because every artist has their own style. My art evokes a calming atmosphere through soft transitions and blending as well as a more colorful, light palette. I capture the everyday object or person. Lotion bottles, hairdryers, or even a mother on the phone all have a story behind them. In discussing my works, I like to tell those stories.
